Use the home page for roster and booking steps, Most Wanted for safe warrant verification, a city police department for its incident report, and the Richland Parish Clerk for a court case and disposition. Louisiana DPS&C, BOP, and ICE apply only to their respective custody systems.
Court-First Record Corrections
An expungement starts with the court, not a private removal promise. The Richland Clerk publishes local motion, affidavit, order, and fee-waiver forms. Louisiana State Police guidance explains statewide processing, while Articles 977, 978, and 983 govern eligibility, timing, fees, and waivers. Consult current law or an attorney about a particular case.
After obtaining the right court document, provide it to each custodian or publisher needing correction. Article 234 gives qualifying people a free seven-calendar-day request route for covered booking-photo publishers when specified proof is supplied. It does not erase the court case or guarantee removal from every copied page.
